Lovely little hotel overlooking garden, we had a good experience here. The food was fantastic and the location was magnificent. You can find Le Logis within walking distance of the property to a have lunch. The daily service was exceptional. Furthermore, free Wi-Fi - was a nice touch...

the hotel was wonderful and ideal with excellent location really close to centre of saint-maixent-l'ecole, and property's restaurant. we were offered a tastefully decorated room for the "necessities ".

We enjoyed it and did not want to leave - strongly recommend. Excellent hotel, fairly clean with consistently courteous staff. the location near a stream was picturesque and close to a pretty river, Cox's Bazar, and the center of Saint-Maixent-l'Ecole. We found time to visit Parc Chaigneau City Park, located a short distance from the property.

Lovely quiet hotel in the countryside. Not a lot in the area and the town is very small. The food in the restaurant was excellant although very expensive for a 3 star hotel. The room was cosy, clean but there is not a lot of room and it was expensive for 125 euros a night.
Food and drink was expensive in the restaurant, although the food was excellant.Gin and tonic was 13.50 euros which is far too much to pay. Cheapest wine was around 35 euros.

We were a party of six (three couples) all our rooms were very clean and most comfortable . we stayed one night en route to the south. A very happy stop off.
Food a little to fancy and did not quite carry it off. But we enjoyed the stay and friendly staff.

Lovely peaceful location near the river, charming old-style decor, and a fantastic restaurant. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast with 3 freshly baked buns! 🥐

The bed was comfortable.
The rooms were very small and the bathroom extremely small with no where to put anything, also the shower head was broken. The menu was for the cost limited. Infact after seeing the menu we decided to eat elsewhere. This wasn't because we couldn't afford it but felt that it wasn't value for money. The hotel photos are deceptive and a group of youths drinking beer and riding motorbikes up and down in front of the hotel at night wasn't ideal.

Good chef and excellent dinner
Initial allocation of Junior Suite was a very gloomy and fusty tower room but had it changed. No lounge or bar and dining room closed on one of our two nights. No warmth of almosphere anywhere in the hotel. Probably nicer when it's busier and hotter

The location of the hotel was peaceful - around 10-15 minutes walk from an abbatial church. The restaurant was good with outstanding service, I tried amazing dishes. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and there were central heating, tea and coffee making equipment, and a work desk to use.

Pleasant, clean rooms with all the luxuries you expect. A warm swimming pool - all in a very quiet and relaxed environment. Friendly and helpful staff who speak English. No restaurant, but good places in the village a short walk away.

A charmng small hotel, comfortable and well-appointed. Dinner was delicious and worthy of more note in the Guide Michelin than it currently has. We have stayed there several times and it has never disappointed us. I would recommend it most strongly.
